El Rincón del Sabor (the taste corner) is a small home restaurant located in the suburbs of Cali, Colombia. Edelmira Rivera, the current owner, sells lunches, snacks, roasts, fast food, and lunch portions such as meat, beans, rice, soup, among others. She needed a brand and strategy for her business that reflected homemade food at a reasonable price. Applications such as signboards, aprons, and an editable menu were also created.
This work is one of a series of projects developed for a Colombian NGO called: “Carvajal Foundation” (“Fundación Carvajal”). The main goal was to implement Visual Communications Design in several startups to improve their life quality. These businesses were located in high-risk zones (Ghettos) of Santiago de Cali and Buenaventura.
